The band ZU was formed a couple of years ago in Los Angeles. After writing some original material, the band played local LA clubs as well as the college circuit where they enjoyed great popularity. Having developed a distinctive sound and inspired by the reaction to their original material, the band started work on their self-titled EP. ZU encapsulates a world created to challenge today's notion of popular music while at the same time not alienating itself from mass commercial appeal.
