LA-based singer/songwriter Dan Mackenzie, who specializes in wailing the woes of love gone awry, performs regularly at such venerated venues as The Mint, Largo and Temple Bar.

Both Mackenzie's solo and full-band concerts (usually sold out!) are characterized by the raw passion of his vocal delivery, complimented by the singer's super-comfortable stage demeanor and razor-sharp wit.

Instrumentally, he alternates between acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, and his cherished vintage Wurlitzer keyboard.

Mackenzie is also a (working) actor, screenwriter, and Film/TV composer, whose songs have been featured on "The Chris Isaak Show", "Popular" and "Higher Ground".

KCRW listeners have recently heard Mackenzie's tune "Planets, Moons and Stars" (featuring backup voclas by Lisa Loeb!) on DJ Anne Litt's popular program "Weekend Becomes Eclectic"...
