    Split Habit:

  • Is Travis Brown (vocals/bass), Frankie Cacciato (guitar/vocals), and Chris Michaels (drums).
  • Can drink their weight in beer.
  • Is from the outskirts of Chicago.
  • Has that Southside of Chicago work ethic.
  • Kind of started when Chris and Travis met in a high school bathroom, where they went to smoke.
  • Actually started as a band in 2000.
  • Welcomed Frankie, a.k.a The Italian Stallion, to the Split Habit family in 2001.
  • Have not been afraid of the Mafia since Frankie joined.
  • Has released its second full-length, Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is
  • Recorded Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is with producer Sean O’Keefe (Fall Out Boy, Spitalfield, Motion City Soundtrack).
  • Has toured with Allister and Lucky Boys Confusion.
  • Has played with Sum 41, Yellowcard, Hey Mercedes, Taking Back Sunday, The Stereo, RX Bandits, The Early November, and Something Corporate.
  • Is probably rocking a club full of kids right now.
  • Are signed to Double Zero, the label owned by Mike Felumlee (ex-Smoking Popes and Alkaline Trio).
  • Smoke and drink like Dean Martin, carouse like Frank Sinatra, and dance like Sammy Davis Jr.
  • Would make your mom blush.
  • Could make Hall and Oates blush because of their cover of “Maneater.”
  • Has perfected their blend of aggressive rock and melodic pop to a point where the girls get it and the boys rock to it.
  • Is destined for greatness.

A&R Online recommends Split Habit

Listening to this band takes me back to my post-punk days, when the Jam entered the scene and then a flurry of "Power Pop" bands, Elvis Costello oh and Joe Jackson. Maybe that's why I like this band, it reminds me of all the good stuff I used to go see live in the late 70's. There's something really up to date about this band though, quite refreshing. They all look so bloody young too, that's really annoying!
